Jump for Joy: Kids Fun & Dance Skills | Online
PUBLISHED
ONLINE | Saturday Mini Class, Sept 12 - 26, 10am – 11am CT | Ages 8-12 | Taught by Kelly McCain
Like to move? Tired of sitting in school classes? Love to dance? Afraid of dance auditions? Come join Kelly McCain who, using her years of experience as a dancer in Musical Theatre, has crafted an approach to connecting movement with basic dance moves - on Zoom!
Come join us for the multi-benefits--the joy of movement, exercise, and some new dance moves, too!
For the class:
Choose an area in your home that allows for a range of movement (standing and floor work); be mindful of overhead lighting and fans, etc; set device on a raised surface so that the teacher is visible; if possible, have a front light so students are more visible for feedback; choose footwear that is conducive for movement on the floor surface you will use (socks, tennis shoes, bare feet).
-
About the teacher:
Kelly McCain is a DFW-based choreographer who has worked with many theaters around the metroplex including WaterTower Theatre, Theatre Three, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Uptown Players, Junior Players, Firehouse Theatre, and MainStage Irving among others.
