Drawing the Human Form: Live Drawing

On September 26th, Central Arts of Bedford will be hosting its 8th and final class of the Human Form series. Students will participiate in a live drawing session with instructor Autumn Mabry as the model. This will give students a hands on experience of drawing the human form.

Nature Story Time- Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary

These story times are designed primarily for young children and will introduce a different nature-themed book each week. During most of the story times, a puppet, live animal or enrichment items will be included to enhance the experience. These programs should last approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the book covered.

Girls in Aviation Day Dallas 2019

The North Texas Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) will be hosting its fifth annual Girls in Avaition Day - a FREE program for girls ages 8 to 18 designed to introduce them to the possibilities available in a career in aviation - on September 21st, 2019 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas. The day’s activities will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. More than 2,000 girls along with their chaperones are expected to attend.
