Jr Engineers

Does your little learner love to tinker and create new things? If so, they’re going to love Snapology’s Junior Engineers program! This program will give your student opportunities to build functional LEGO® DUPLO® models of elevators, amusement park rides, robotic dogs, spinning tops, and so much more! As your learner works alongside other little engineers, they will be learning the importance of teamwork and how collaboration is an essential component of engineering and design.

What the Students Will Learn

• Science and Engineering Concepts
  With the guidance of a Snapology Instructor, your students will build models that utilize gears, wheels, axles, pulleys and more. These models will become a hands-on tool to learn about physics concepts such as balance, measurement, energy, and force - just to name a few!

• Problem Solving and Experimentation
  Students will use their various LEGO® models to complete a series of building and engineering challenges. Through observation and predictions, students will test how manipulating their models can result in an unexpected outcome!

• Teamwork/Partner Skills
  Small groups and peer partners are key components of Snapology’s classroom approach. We emphasize positive teamwork skills in our programs and constantly work to develop healthy, respectful collaborations between students. Through group planning, sharing of materials, and fun partner experiences, students become more cognizant of how to interact with their peers in a respectful and productive way.
