Registration for Summer is open at enniseducation.com. In this course, students grades 6-7 will use ranked choice voting to select the group's books from a list of Newbery recipients. Our teacher is a former instructor from University of Cambridge (UK) and Brown University as well as a certified executive functioning coach. She will impart accelerated reading comprehension techniques to students in order to prepare them for the advanced texts they'll encounter in higher grade levels.

FREE Virtual Teen Career Conference hosted by The Phoenix Zoo **Advanced registration required

The Phoenix Zoo is excited to host its Virtual Teen Career Conference once again, an opportunity for teens to explore many different careers in animal science. Through specially selected speaker panels, attendees will hear from experts in Zoology, Conservation, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Care working both within the Zoo and in the field.

Volunteers of all ages are invited to make a difference and have a lot of fun doing it! Come to Warren Park between 8 - 9 a.m. to collect trash pick up materials before heading out to remove litter and debris from retail corridors, waterways, drainage channels, streets, parks, and other public areas. Youth participants are enthusiastically welcomed but must have adult supervision. After litter pick up, return to Warren Park for free pizza and a raffle prize drawing!
