Shine Presents Frozen Jr.

Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Perry Pumpkin Patch

Leaves are turning and the Perry Museum is ready to usher in the fall season with games, competition, and of course pumpkins! Everyone is invited to the annual Perry Pumpkin Patch, where folks can enjoy some old-fashioned games, photo opportunities, and pumpkins. Pumpkins are limited one per child. Pumpkin reservations are encouraged. Do you think your pie is the best? Compete in the pie-baking contest for a chance to take home the blue ribbon. Not a baker, but love pie? Compete in the pie-eating contest. There will be something for everyone so mark your calendars. We will see you in the patch!

Oktoberfest Southlake

This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce! Over 100,000 people visit throughout the weekend festival! Attendance is completely free — there are no admissions or parking fees. There will, however, be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for sale! Park Glen Neighborhood Association Turkey Trot

Join us for this annual event! Both courses of the Turkey Trot will be run on paved park paths and residential streets, beginning and ending at Alliance United Methodist Church – 7904 Park Vista Blvd; Fort Worth 76137. Course maps are available at www.ParkGlen.org. - The 5K Race/Run/Walk (approximately 3.11 miles) will be run on a certified course and officially timed, so runners with strollers, baby joggers, or pets will be asked to start at the back of the pack (and no skates or skateboards). One water station will be available approximately halfway through the course. - The 2K Fun Run/Walk (approximately 1.24 miles) will not be timed or certified, so walkers, runners, strollers, and pets are welcome.

Forest of Fear- Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake

TWO nights of FRIGHTS! Guests of Forest of Fear will witness the transformation of Loyd Park’s campgrounds into a drive-through Halloween experience like no other – all from the safety of their vehicles! Pumpkin Patch at Country Critters Farm

Pumpkin Patch is almost here, it begins October 2nd! Get ready for amazing family fun. We will be open weekends from Oct. 2nd through Nov. 14th. We are open weekdays by reservation only. Activities include: bounce houses, tractor and train playground, petting zoo, pony rides, barrel train rides, hay rides, wooden maze, duck races (ducks are $1), hay pyramid, game areas, pumpkin patch, and more! Each paying child will get to pick a pie size pumpkin from the patch and can decorate it with markers. We have also added corn cannons and bounce racers this year! We are also very excited to announce that we will have live Texas Country music on Saturdays during Pumpkin Patch!! Not So Scary "Scary" Stories with Oba William King
