Summer Cooking with The Polytech

The Polytech will send the menu ahead of time with all ingredients and equipment necessary to create the planned recipes. During class, students (and parents) cook in their own kitchen as our chef instructor cooks the same recipes in a professional kitchen. She streams the instruction online so students can stay just one step behind, and also get immediate feedback if their slices need to be thinner or their rice looks too thick, etc. At the end of class, everyone can enjoy delicious food they have just prepared together!
Examples of previous class menus include:
- Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins, Orange-Glazed Chicken with Pears, and Cauliflower and Potato Mash
- Sheet Pan Teriyaki Salmon and Veggies, Ginger Scallion Rice, and Baked Apples
- Blackened Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa, Avocado Lime Crema, and Mini Lemon Meringue Pies
Neurodiverse students welcome! Alternate class dates may be added so ask us for other options if you require a different schedule.
