Prehistoric Park -The Return of the Dinosaurs!

Activities include boneyard games, numerous exhibit displays, tracks trail, a dig site to discover bones of the past, and animatronic dinosaurs. Funnel cakes and beverages will be available for purchase on Friday – Sunday. Feel free to bring a picnic for your family, but watch out for the dinosaurs they get hungry.

Purchase tickets day of at the Meadowmere Park Gatehouse (No cash accepted, debit or credit cards only).
General Admission-
For admission into the exhibit, you must buy a ticket PER VEHICLE but it can be used once anytime during the exhibit dates and various hours. This is a one-time use-only ticket good for the duration of the day.

Dinos After Dark- Dates: March 11 & 18, April 8 & 15
Explore the dinosaurs in a whole new light as a family, and enjoy the sunset as the exhibit transforms at dusk! Special experiences, dinosaur encounters, along with an enhanced Tracks Trail.
Fee: $29 Per Vehicle (Up to six people) | Dinos After Dark Exhibit Hours: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Purchase tickets at the Meadowmere Gatehouse | Gates open at 6:50 pm & close at 8:45 pm
Prehistoric Park will be enhanced on April 1 & April 2- while supplies last!
Join Grapevine Parks and Recreation for an egg-citing enhanced weekend at Prehistoric Park on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2. There will be activities, games, crafts, and photo ops in addition to the exhibit.
Fee: $29 Per Vehicle (Up to six people) | Exhibit Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Activities include:
- Amber Fossil Craft – Kids will create their own amber fossil to take home. (while supplies last!)
- Boneyard Games-
- Feed the Dinosaur – At this station, guests will throw bean bags that are made to look like T-bone steaks into the mouth of a dinosaur, like a cornhole game.
- Tricer-A-Toss – A Triceratops has 3 horns on it. Just like a ring toss game at the carnival, guests will toss the rings to make it on a horn.
- Walk like a Dinosaur – Kids will have the opportunity to have dinosaur feet and tails are really walk like a dinosaur.
- Dinosaur Hunting – Kids will have the opportunity to shoot the inflatable dinosaur with foam arrows but before hunting, participants must take a quick for fun class to obtain their dino hunting license!
- Egg Excavation – Kids will pick out an egg to extract their very own dinosaur to take home. (while supplies last!)
- Tracks Trail Egg Hunt – Kids will hunt to find 5 dinosaur Easter eggs on Tracks Trail! If you find them all, they will receive a hatchable dinosaur egg! (while supplies last!)
- More egg-ceptional fun for the whole family!

Dinosaur Encounters
Experience interactions with our Baby Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, Juvenile Tyrannosaurus, or the Dilophosaurus Saturdays and Sundays at select times during the exhibit, and Dinos After Dark.
