Heritage Village at Chestnut Square Guided Tour
Explore the charming historic homes of our village and discover the fascinating stories behind the families who once lived there! Homes are available for viewing on a rotating schedule. Take a guided walk through our beautiful grounds and immerse yourself in the early life of McKinney. Tours start at the Welcome Center (Dixie's Store) and typically last about an hour. If you're just visiting McKinney, extended tours may be available depending on docent availability. Be sure to check at the Welcome Center or call ahead to arrange an extended tour.

Children under 12 are not permitted. Children 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a very popular tour with a limited number of guests permitted per tour. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Tours are regularly scheduled for the 3rd Saturday, 9 months a year. Extra tours are scheduled in October.
