City Nature Challenge

Join Texas Parks & Wildlife, Texas Master Naturalists, the Audubon Society, the Nature Conservancy and others in a fun challenge to see which city can document the most species. It's easy to participate by joining an event or making observations on your own using the iNaturalist app. Frisco’s count will be added to the Dallas/Fort Worth greater metropolitan area.
Participate by taking pictures of wild plants and animals in Frisco parks or your own backyard. Document your finds using the iNaturalist app from April 24-27, 2026.
