Carrollton Health & Safety Fair

Bring the whole family to the third annual Carrollton Health & Safety Fair highlighting the services provided by Carrollton’s Fire Rescue, Police, and Office of Emergency Management departments. This free community event will feature fun activities for kids including the Ninja Nation Fitness Group LLC obstacle course, bounce houses, a balloon twister, and a face painter. There will also be demonstrations by public safety officials, free health screenings, educational displays, prize raffles, free food from local vendors, and more. The fair is designed to not only highlight City services, but also create engagement with local healthcare and public safety resources. The effort is aimed at all ages, and focuses on overall wellness through physical activity and connecting people year-round to local offerings and services. Carrollton Fire Rescue will be conducting free CPR trainings throughout the day in one of the many tents on display. The free classes will focus on hands-only Adult CPR and AED training. CFR will conduct technical rope rescue and vehicle extrication demonstrations, and City fleet vehicles will be on display for public education. Officers and departmental employees will also be available to answer questions and chat with community members. Information on hiring opportunities will also be available. The Carrollton Health & Safety Fair is presented by the City’s public safety departments – Fire Rescue, Police, and Emergency Management – in partnership with Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD), Kacie’s Run, and Metrocrest Hospital Authority.
