Gary Ferguson has written for a variety of national publications, including Vanity Fair and Orion, and is the author of 27 books on nature and science. His memoir “The Carry Home: Lessons from the American Wilderness,” was described by The Los Angeles Times as “gorgeous,” with “beauty on every page.” For this discussion we will be looking at “The Eight Master Lessons of Nature: What Nature Teaches Us About Living Well in the World”, a riveting manifesto for the millions of people who long to forge a more vital, meaningful connection to the natural world to live a better, more fulfilling life.
Gary will be joined by Mary M. Clare, his wife and co-author of Full Ecology: Repairing Our Relationship with the Natural World, which was released in April of this year.
