Family Craft Night - Women's History Month
*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 03/02/2026
Gather the family and head over to the Southeast Branch for a fun night of DIY crafts! Free supplies will be provided for themed weekly activities celebrating the spring season, creativity and collaboration.
The first Monday of each month is dedicated to a Monthly Muse: an artist that we will look to for inspiration and aspire to replicate their art style. March's Monthly Muse is the Alma Thomas, the first African American woman to have a solo exhibition at New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art and to be included in the White House permanent art collection.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
This program is designed to be flexible on time so that families can participate at any time during the program's duration. Themed crafts are intended for ages 5+. Parents and caregivers must be present and are encouraged to join in on the fun. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.
