The Carpenters' Company, the nation's oldest craft guild, in partnership with CraftNOW Philadelphia, the city’s premier consortium of craft-related artists and organizations, presents a virtual author talk with celebrated craft expert Glenn Adamson in conjunction with his new book, Craft: An American History.

The Carpenters' Company, the nation's oldest craft guild, in partnership with CraftNOW Philadelphia, the city’s premier consortium of craft-related artists and organizations, presents a virtual author talk with celebrated craft expert Glenn Adamson in conjunction with his new book, Craft: An American History. Adamson will present an overview of his current book, focusing on Philadelphia and the impact of craft guilds, and take questions from attendees.

 This event is co-hosted by CraftNOW Philadelphia and generously sponsored by the Virginia and Harvey Kimmel Arts Education Fund of the Philadelphia Foundation and David W. Seltzer.
