Celebrate African-American culture at the Southeast Branch Library. Featuring music, displays, dance performances, children's activities, lectures, and more! Bring the whole family to this annual event for our community.

2 p.m. - TCC Southeast Art Professor John Neal Phillips will speak about Gordon Parks and James Van Der Zee, two influential 20th Century photographers.

3:30 p.m. - Chris Huff, City of Arlington, TX - Animal Services Manager, will announce the winners of the following:
- Art contest for the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration 2019
- Essay contest for the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration 2019
- Animal Services Heritage Program Contest.

Snacks will be provided by Household of Faith Charities
